Franciscan Pilgrimage Programs

For more than forty-five years the Assumption Province has sponsored and managed Franciscan Pilgrimage Programs, Inc. This program, which conducts pilgrimages to Assisi, Rome, the Holy Land, Prague, Mexico, California and Ireland, has received high praise from participants from around the world.

It’s purpose is to provide the pilgrim with the “spirituality of place”, the goal being to experience the spirit of those saints who lived in those areas.

The management of the programs rests with the Assumption Province. The staff is comprised of some of the most outstanding scholars of Franciscanism from all the branches of the Franciscan family.
